# Introduction

**Cube** is a lightweight, high-performant and memory-safe Netwrix Identity Manager (Usercube) CLI & MCP server written in Rust.

## Why you should use Cube?

**Cube** is a Rust-based, lightweight, high-performance and secure toolkit for interacting with the **NIM** API. It provides:

* A **CLI client** `cube`) for direct terminal interaction
* An **MCP server** `cube-mcp`) enabling AI assistants to manage NIM resources programmatically

Both interfaces share a unified core that abstracts API complexity, handles authentication transparently, and enforces consistent request patterns across all endpoints.
